Professor Pu Chen is a fellow of theCanadian Academy of Engineering, University Research Chair,Chair Professor in nano-biomaterials,in the Departments of Chemical Engineering andPhysics, University of Waterloo. Professor Chen’s group works on the researchin biomedicine and energystorage, and their practical applications using self/co-assembly peptides,nano-drug carriers, smart energymaterials and batteries. Theyhave hosted more than 50 research projects in Canada, the United States, India,Singapore, and China, with funding over $20 million, and published over 250 SCI papers and 150 patents. Thegroup is looking for talents to join its effort in biomedicine and energy materials.

1) Biomedicine: Nano-biomaterials; Drug and gene delivery; Precise molecular medicine; Patient derived organoids (PDOs); Oncology; RNAi, antibody and Immuno-therapies.

2) Energy: Energystorage and conversion; Novel electrode materials; Rechargeableaqueous batteries.

1)    Postdoctoral Fellows:published papers in SCI journals in the relevant fields as the first author,and strong independent research ability and professionalism.

2)    Doctoral Candidates: Strongacademic research ability and excellent English level.
