美国北卡莱罗纳大学格林斯伯勒校区转化生物医学研究中心招收两名博士后研究人员。 Two postdoctoral positions are immediately available at the Center for Translational Biomedical Research at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The positions will work on NIH-funded projects within the field of alcoholic liver disease. The positions will perform both cell culture and animal experiments to study the mechanisms of alcoholic steatosis and hepatitis. Research focuses include (1) hepatic lipid metabolism and lipotoxicity, and (2) intestinal mucosal immune dysfunction and signaling of gut-derived pathogen-associated molecular patterns in the liver. The minimum qualifications of this position include (1) A PhD degree in the field of biomedicine; (2) A strong background in cellular and molecular biology; and (3) a record of research productivity as evidenced by research presentations and peer-reviewed publications. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work as a team member are necessary. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
